The company is owned and operated by Treasure Island, Fl. residents Dan Doubleday and Meredith Corson. Sanding Ovations has sculpted commissioned pieces for clients such as the NFL Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, the Outback Bowl, Budweiser, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Frito Lay and Pepperidge Farm just to name a few. Some of our work has also been seen at Bios:Dan Doubleday Bio:Dan Doubleday resides in Treasure Island, FL. He was discovered sculpting on a beach in Santa Cruz, CA. His style was so unique and skills so advanced that he was invited to his first masters event just 6 months later where he won 4th place. From there he went on to be the first North american to win the coveted Sculptors Choice at the World Champions and continued his winning streak there with Solo Gold in 2000 and Doubles Gold (with Meredith) in 2001. Dan strives for perfection in human anatomy. His sculptures are extremely powerful and very thought provoking. Meredith Corson Bio:Meredith Corson resides in Treasure Island, FL. She is the first woman to have won a Solo Medal at the World Champions. She is 1/2 of the 2001 Doubles World Champion (with Dan). She has appeared on NBC's, Later Today show, Good Day Tampa Bay, and major television stations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. She has won or placed in every major competition she has entered, and pleases the public with her unique Norman Rockwell style that usually involves children and every day life with a twist of humor. She is a very busy mother of three who shares her time with sand sculpting, her children, and her partner in business, life, and love...Dan Doubleday.
